hard winter...

clearly, i wasn't the only one who had a rough time this winter...
we came across this talented bass player our first afternoon in notting hill. when we were so charmed and impressed we decided that we absolutely MUST live here. though it was obvious he'd lived a tough life - weathered face, tough hands, a little too thin - he was clean cut and upbeat.

here he is back in september. 

 

but it looks like it's been a tough winter. a little skinnier, more unruly, with cigarette in mouth this may...

luckily, it hasn't affected his ability to rock out fulsom prison.
