i'm absent from the blogosphere due to a sudden london panic.
mom always used to say
"if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
and who wants to hear me say nothing nice about living in a charming city and traveling europe? (for the record - that's nice, the stress of getting there, bank accounts, visas, apartments etc etc etc is not)
so i have don't have anything to say, at all.

If it makes you feel any better. Don't believe the bank account hype. It took me ten minutes to open my account at Barclays.
i can't offer any comforting words about london. however, can i guarantee that as soon as you jump these hurdles and the pond, and get slightly settled, you are going to have the most AMAZING experience.
