the girls of new york check out their female counterparts more often than men do?
i was looked from head to toe today by at least 6 girls - with no question to their orientation. one was clearly staring down my boots. the others eye seemed fixated on the brass buttons on my vest. another girl was judging my beat up brown leather bag. and the 6th must have noticed my unthreaded eyebrows.
BUT the gentleman on the corner of 116th and Adam Clayton...
the doorman at the Chelsea Savoy...
the fruit man on 10th and 23rd...
all had plenty of nice things to say to me.

Girls are super judgemental of each other. Someone once made a comment to me about girls not dressing for guys, they really dress for other girls. I can kinda see it...
That is because you always look so good! Girls only look each other up when A) they are jealous or B) they are wearing something completely hideous. And I knows it wasn't the latter!
Next time someone does that, you should look at them and be like, "Thank you!" haha
