it seems that in NY work life balance means working 13 hour days and telling life to go to hell. i remember when staying til 5:11 was practically overtime.

ha..try being a pastry chef during holiday season...the days never end..but who can complain about baking all day...loves it
Well as soon as you decide to revisit your social life, we found this really amazing Italian place. Its cheap and everyone raves about how authentic it is (Malatesta, ever heard of it?). Thought you may like to have a little bit of Italy in New York. Let me know when youre free!
Yeah- I hear that. Right now my social life is kicking and screaming as it drowns in the 2 hours a day that I'm not at work or asleep. (and that includes saturdays)

I hope it at least helps you really enjoy the weekends... and if you feel bogged down, there are always jobs at universities :)
