don't judge me.

I'm selling it.

Everytime I see it in the closet I wonder if it is a little more yellow than it was the last time, I have to push around it to get to my coats, and ask myself "what am i going to do with it."

If you're interested let me know.
Call me cold hearted. Go ahead and judge me.

But I'll never sell this ...

Here's a thought..what if you have or adopt a daughter and her only wish is to is wear her mother's wesdding dress on her wedding day? How do you word a response that won't crush her?

I wish you luck...for the future conversation

you daughter will not want to wear it.. she will want to pick out her own dress, and not one from years and years ago.. this NEVER happens.
she MAY want to wear your headpiece, and even that is pushing it!
they want to pick out their own things - get something for it while you can! especially if you end up in a house full of boys...

Ok i fully support your decision to cleanse your closet, but i just have a feeling you're going to regret this in like around a month. True i have no desires to wear my moms wedding dress on my actual wedding day, but i was the biggest babe in it at my Young Womens modest fashion show in '97. Something to think about

NOOOO. Don't sell it.

What size is it? How tall are you and how big were your heels (so I know how it has been hemmed)?

it fits a standard size 4. I wore 2.5 inch heels and am 5'7'' , but the bustle takes a bit of length off.

My first post!
Okay so the only reason why I wouldn't sell mine is this:
Setting: Grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary
The door opens and in walks my grandmother in her wedding dress! It fits perfectly and she looks absolutely amazing and everyone cries.
I figure if I keep my dress and do the same thing I will be motivated to still fit in it in 50 years!

Otherwise, I wouldn't have a problem passing it on to someone else for their special day.

Sell it and buy a lovely anniversary dress. Sentiment is great, but another cool dress is better. You look beautiful. I love the pictures.
