bedroom

for the bedroom, we are thinking something more monotone.
more sophisticated.
less colorful.

and i'm paralyzed with indecision.
and we have white walls.
and we can't paint them.
and i just can't make up how this place is going to look in my head.
ugh.

first world problems people.

a cheap solution to the white walls problem in our apartment... I got a huge piece of thin plywood. I painted it with a cool stencil design. Kinda a wallpaper look. I drilled it into the wall. (I can patch the holes later!) It took up almost the entire wall and at least gave us some color! :) Good luck.

i love the photo on the far right. we have white walls that we can't paint either and i'm kind of loving them. they make our place look so bright.

i love the gray / white pallet. let's find a big gray headboard to smack up against that white wall.

FANTASTIC! I completely agree. Why do I worry over things like un-paintable white walls? But I do. Luckily, I have hardwood floors that really add the color you need to make the rest of the room colorful. I dislike the "pops" of bright color on an all white background.
