reality.

a year ago i noticed a few gray hairs.
a month ago my vision seemed to be dimming.

and after a quick trip to costco, it's official - at 18 my right eye was 20/15, at 28 it's 20/40.  so now i'm ordering my warby parker's ($95 frames - you just can't beat it).

i've gotten mixed feebback on the options. regardless of what looks best on me, their virtual tryer-oner is AMAZING. what do you think? i'm leaning towards 1 and 3 (unless you tell me 3 is awful, and then i'll change to 4. see how flexible i am?)

i'm doing my best not to say that thing that matt hates when i say. (i'm getting so old)

I have to say that I like #1 the very best. You can get away with any of them, but go #1! And you are not getting old.

You're going to love them...I have the Huxleys and for the first time in my life, I actually wear glasses in public! I think they all look good, but 3 is my fav!

3. I'm jealous you get to join the glasses club. Have you heard of Fabulous Fannys in the east village? They have the best selection of vintage frames and some are really cheap. That's where we buy Stanton's glasses every year.

You remember that part in Devil Wears Prada where the model holds up two really similar belts and Anne Hathaway laughs because she can't really tell the difference?

I like #1. You are not, my dear. I'm in NYC thrice in the next month and a half - must get together!
