i wish i had something of interest to say...

other than...

matt's pretty great. (for you grammarians out there... matt's, like it's)

i was overcome by nausea at 2:47 am this morning- which required me to sleep on the bathroom floor until my system rid itself of said nausea. i didn't dare wake him- why should we both be uncomfortable on the cold floor at absurd hours? but he heard the call of my stomach bidding adieu to it's tormentors and came running with pillows and blankets and towels and glasses of water.

and there we were at 4:47 am, spooning on the slightly less cold bathroom floor. then, when it seemed my stomach was satiated, he carried me back to bed and wrapped me in blankets and kept my warm from the shivers which undoubtedly follow such episodes.

matt is pretty great.

now i know what you're thinking ... it was a sickness in the early morning hours ... but i assure you it was NOT morning sickness.

also that ...
we were high rollin' this weekend including...
All we could possibly east at Hill Country BBQ - amazing food, interesting market concept, andw wonderful company - 26th between 5th and 6th.

TWO cab rides (doubling my numbers)

Amy Ruths- round 2 blew our sucks off (and the buttons off our pants) - including, chicken and waffles, corn bread and mac and cheese ... we're going to have to go back cause we just didn't have room for peach cobbler ... we consumed 3000 calories each and learned EXACTLY what "smothered or fried" means. who knew i loved fried chicken?

what a sweet guy. I hope you are over your sickness, and, although children are awesome, I'm glad it isn't morning sickness yet!

I know I should leave a post about how great Matt is (which he is) but instead this is all about Hill Country BBQ!!! That is hands down the best BBQ I've ever eaten outside the state of Texas, and I would say it would be a Top 3 BBQ joint of mine. So so glad you are a fan, and if/when I make it back out to NY for GS, we will have to go together :)
